Once a month I will display one of my photos captured and/or processed with Instagram over the last month. It’s a way for me to show photography that usually is quite different from my regular work. The pictures are displayed without any comments, hoping they will stand on their own. But I still very much appreciate any comments you may have. Ooh, that’s a beauty, Otto! So many layers 🙂 🙂
Thank you, Jo. I am happy you like it.
🤗💕
I always love the sun coming through the clouds
It usually makes for some spectacular light, doesn’t it.
Certainly does!
Love the sunrays, they have to be photographed when they are that beautiful.
It’s not the worst time to photograph them for sure. 🙂
That is amazing. I love the light. I could see it being a painting, but it’s just beautiful as a photo. Funny, last night I posted a few images from my trip (I’m currently in a hotel, on my way home. It’s a 2.5 day drive) and they were all about light. Well. When you think about it, so many images we take ARE about the light!
In fact, without light we won’t be able to take photos. 🙂 Thanks for the nice words, Dawn.
Awesome picture and the sun harp is perfect.
Thank you.
I sat, stared, and thought, Then I scrolled down to discover I was about to type the same thoughts as Jo. 🙂 …. very true! Well done, Otto.
Thank you so much, Frank.
A beautiful photograph Otto, the sun light overtaking the darkness, rising from behind the mountain ridge, particularly striking. Have a wonderful day. 🌷
Thank you so much. May you have a wonderful day, too.
Thank you Otto!
I very much like the atmosphere in your above picture, Otto, especially the sun harp. I didn’t now the right expression in English, but read it here above! All the best:)
Thank you for the feedback, Martina.
Shades of lavender and yellow always are an appealing combination, and the complement the details here perfecting. Given the sunlight and the windmills ranged along the crest of the hills, I could be tempted to title this one, “Solar, Wind, and Wonder.”
Good heavens. I’m really not drunk! That should be, “they complement the details here perfectly.”
I like the phrase. And yes, I agree lavender and yellow is an appealing combination. Thank you, Linda.
It’s like three separate shots, photoshopped together. Or painted by three different artists, with completely contrasting styles and brushstrokes
Interesting observation. Cool. However, only one artist. 🙂 Thank you, Robert.
A beautiful photo, Otto. 😍
Thank you, John.
Otto, your image allowed me to enter its majesty and dream. Thanks.
And thank you for commenting, Sally.
I can feel that there is something much brighter over there; a feeling of hope or thing to look forward to go to.
After the rain has passed, yes. 🙂 Thank you for commenting.
Just stunning, Otto. What a gorgeous photo. Beyond words.
Thank you. You make me blush.
Beautiful !!!
Thank you.
What a beauty. Almost magical and you’ve captured it perfectly. Wish I’d been there to view the real thing.
It was quite an amazing view. Thank you for the comment, Vicki.
wow!! i think heaven must look like that xoxoxoxoxxoxoxxox
Some dark clouds there, though. 🙂
there would still be rain in heaven, people still need to dance in it 🙂 xoxoxoxoxox
What beautiful drama, Otto. I see a stormy ocean in the sky, and I love the effect!
Thank you for the comment, Debra.
NICE! I like the dark and moody feeling and color palette as well as the land and sky layers. 🙂
Thank you for the feedback, Denise.
Clouds can certainly add drama to a sky…or block it up entirely. You caught the drama for sure, Otto. Layers in the sky and layers on the land.
Thank you for commenting, Steve. Much appreciated.
It feels like a miracle is about to happen!
Thank you for the feedback, Michelle. Much appreciated.
Fantastic 👌
Thank you, Desirée.
