Once a week—or every so often—I will display one of my photos captured and/or processed with Instagram over the last week. It’s a way for me to show photography that usually is quite different from my regular work. The pictures are displayed without any comments, hoping they will stand on their own. But I still very much appreciate any comments you may have.
Hi Otto,

Good to here your broken bone has healed. Wish you a wonderful weekend.
Beautiful place , even with the ‘hand of man’ so clear to see. Without these beacons we would have difficulty with our phone and internet reception…shock horror!!
Yes, we need those devices, don’t we, even when they don’t really fit with Mother Nature.
This is a fascinating photo. You’ve done something, somehow, with perspective that makes the human presence loom large, and the island and tower seem like nothing more than toys. It’s delightful, and humorous — it gave me a smile this morning.
A way I haven’t seen the photo. So thank you for sharing your perspective, Linda.
What a view!
It is indeed an incredible view.
A delicious shot and edit. Bergen down there?
Yes, Bergen down there. 🙂
For some strange this photo makes me think of a narrative – the subject matter has discovered the edge of the earth – proved it isn’t round after all and celebrating. Ha ha! Very cool!
I do not hope the photo will start a new discussion about the form of the earth… The last one some hundre years ago was pretty ugly.
I’ve recently discovered that the discussion of the form of the earth is still alive and perplexing. Really!
It must be fake news!
Well, at least you and I agree to that. The level of ignorance in our world is frightening.
uh oh! sorry….
I do hail from the state where the discussion seems to be alive and well, up in Boulder CO at least..
Well I believe there are plenty of mountains there, but even from the highest peak, you won’t easily be able to visual determine the not flat character of the earth. 🙂
Love your instagrams! This one looks like a whole bunch of fun.
We had a great day! Thank you, Dawn.
Ahh… nice view and very nice refreshing feel!
Thank you so much.
And I can see forever! Nice. Love the playful quality too.
To the end of the earth, no?
Yep, yep.
Pretty scene and a happy hiker.
Very happy, the hiker an me alike.
Interesting shot with a lot to think about in the scene. A little Eiffel Tower in the background, a pond and a man photo bombing your shot! 🙂
I agree, there are a lot of elements in the photo. Thank you for comment, Denise.
Awesome place, Beautiful View, another Great Shot! Ya are Lucky ones!… 🙂
Thank you, Solveig.
Wonderful photograph Otto!
Thanks a lot, Holly.
wow!! now if THIS picture somehow showed up in my iPhone pics, i would KNOW FOR SURE that i hadn’t taken it lolol amazing photo!
Maybe you will have to take a trip to Bergen first?
somehow one of your pictures ended up in my iPhone photos… i thought i used to be a great photographer 🙂
I am sorry if one of my photos has destroyed your reputation as a photographer. Will make sure it never happens again.
hahaha, don’t worry, i destroyed my own reputation 🙂
Gorgeous scenery! Happy September, blogger friend!
Thank you, Susan. Happy September to you, too.
It would have been a beautiful photo without a person in the foreground, but that addition added great interest! The perspective was highlighted and the expanse of the geography all the more breathtaking. What a beautiful location, and I’m so glad to enjoy it in your very special photography.
Thank you for those lovely words, Debra.
Breathtaking hues of nature! Somehow, I thought of Julius Caesar’s words: veni, vidi, vici as I looked at your fine photo.
That might be true, at least in a spiritual way. 🙂
