Once a week—or every so often—I will display one of my photos captured and/or processed with Instagram over the last week. It’s a way for me to show photography that usually is quite different from my regular work. The pictures are displayed without any comments, hoping they will stand on their own. But I still very much appreciate any comments you may have.
Great!
Thanks.
Urk! That comment was done in a rush but really should have been Wow! The sun rays are wonderfully rendered here, tricky exposure I think, or would be for me, but you nailed it.
Wow. That about sums it up. Wow!
It was a wow moment, indeed.
Layer upon layer. So dramatic, Otto.
It was quite something to observe,
Quite a drama, Otto!
It was. Thank you, Sue.
😊
Oh my! Such a stunner–on so many levels–pun intended.
Thank you, Linda.
Stunning! Besides being beautiful, I like that it tricked my eyes and I had to stop and figure out what I was looking at. I also loved your post about obstacles to seeing. Some of your points sank home for me. Thanks for reminding me of what’s important in the creative process.
I am glad you to read what you write. So thank you for the nice words, Linda.
This is such an intriguing image, Otto. It has the feeling of a collage. The bands of color are particularly striking — sometimes, a little altitude is just what’s needed!
Altitude, some sun and some clouds. 🙂
Stunning image. I agree with Linda (shoreacres). It does have the feeling of a collage with those bands of colour.
Nature’s collage then. 🙂
I’ll say it again… positively celestial!
Thank you, Dale.
Oooh! Otto, that’s surreal!
I would have to agree. But quite extraordinary to watch.
What a fantastic moment and very well captured Otto. The sun above and rays below!
It was indeed a special moment.
Spectacular capture! It makes me think of this, “There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets through” – Leonard Cohen
A very appropriate quote. Thank you, Michelle.
Otto, I wish that the whole world could wake up with the feelings that your image evokes. An absolutely inspirational performance by Mother Nature.
I would love that, too. Let’s hope for a world slowly recovering again – but not too slow.
Wow fabulous shot Otto, very dramatic and so many different layers. Stunning!!
Thank you, Gilda.
Great shot! Perfect rays
Thanks, Brian.
Very bold landscape image … two thumbs up!
Thank you, Denise.
Spectacular shot.
Like someone else mentioned, it almost has a feel of multiple photos stitched into one, and each layer beautiful in its own way. The sun with the the “silver” or should I say golden lining in the clouds, the rays peeking from the clouds, and the water dotted with islands, and then a lovely little settlement – all beautifully captured.
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback.
This is enchanting, I have to agree with Dale, I would describe this as “ celestial”.
Thank you, Holly. I am happy you like it.
Spectacular, Otto! 🙂 🙂 I would have had to stand and stare.
Which I did!
The composition of this image is remarkable
Thank you for the feedback, Deepak.
wow!!! just like heaven!!
I could have been fooled…
Whew – love the layers and the glow!!
Thank you may friend.
That is a breathtaking photo! Beautiful work, Otto.
Thank you, Phil.
That pattern of rays below the main clouds almost looks like concert lighting.
Art
I like your associations. Thanks.
Jadå, bilden står för sig själv, den lever sitt liv och den är själva sinnebilden för Norge…och Bergen. No more words!
Takk, Gertie.
