Once a week—or every so often—I will display one of my photos captured and/or processed with Instagram over the last week. It’s a way for me to show photography that usually is quite different from my regular work. The pictures are displayed without any comments, hoping they will stand on their own. But I still very much appreciate any comments you may have.
Great smile!
I thought so too. 🙂
Pretty young woman and appreciative young man.
Yes, no doubt about that. 🙂
There is nothing like a smile that reaches the eyes. You’ve captured it perfectly.
Smiles can change the world, no?
Absolutely!
Happy!
Indeed.
A joyful and relaxed smile. Great portrait, Otto.
Thank you, Jane.
Fun and greeting smile!
Just gotta love it, no?
Definitely, I knew you are the other side of her smile and I am sure that brought a smile on you too!
My spirit surely was lifted. 🙂
they both look quite happy )
Yes, the were. At least it seemed like.
I do miss seeing people smile. I suspect one reason for resistance to mask-wearing is that it dehumanizes; it removes one important way of human communication. When it’s impossible to “read” a person’s face, fear can build. We need to develop ‘eye-twinkles’ akin to that beautiful young woman’s.
I have always had a problem with any kind of masks – for that reason. That’s why I don’t like to attend costume parties where people were masks – albeit different masks than whats is worn these days.
I’m not sure who wrote the ‘eyes are the window to our soul’ but this young woman strikes me to have such joy in her soul.
I think we can all agree to that. Thank you for the comment.
They both look very happy. Kind of neat how you included him but it’s still all about her.
Could easily have been misunderstood if I hadn’t included him. Maybe.
En bild som förmedlar glädje, något vi så väl behöver just nu! No more words!
Mer enn nok ord. Takk, Gertie.
My idea of a Norwegian beauty. And it appears her beauty is more than skin-deep.
In fact, she was from some Eastern European country. 🙂
Which is why generalizations are dumb, as is type-casting. She’s a beauty, where ever she’s from.
her hair is going to get matted at the roots and she will have to cut it all off, trust me, i know this lolol… looks pretty tho lol
I didn’t even notice – but then I am not an expert on hair (don’t need to).
Her hairstyle adds another level to her. I especially like how you included the man. As for masks and smiles, maybe wearing masks helps us realize that true smiles are in the eyes?
You could be right. Maybe masks have taught us to see what a real smile is.
She’s beautiful! And it is so nice to see a nice smile! He seems as well to be amused 🙂 Great photoOtto!
Thank you, Robert.
Such a relaxed, happy smile! The world can’t have enough of this 🙂 🙂
We can never have enough of happy smiles!
🤗💕
She has an infectious smile, she makes you smile just seeing her picture. Thank you for sharing Otto! 🙂
And thank you for the feedback, Joan.
Such a gorgeous and young lady and very appreciative young man! Great shot!
Thank you, Holly.
What a pretty face and it looks like she is having a great time. A fun commentary by cropping the companion out. One could read a lot into that!
I know – and that was my intention. 🙂
