Last Week’s Instagram

Once a week—or every so often—I will display one of my photos captured and/or processed with Instagram over the last week. It’s a way for me to show photography that usually is quite different from my regular work. The pictures are displayed without any comments, hoping they will stand on their own. But I still very much appreciate any comments you may have.

  1. Well, it looks cold. And since we have finally moved an inch or two toward spring I’m hoping not to see any more of that cold white stuff…though I know it’s still a possibility here. My Facebook memories show we had snow on this date a couple years ago. Today we’re enjoying sunshine and warm weather. I’ll take it. I hope you and your family are safe and well, Otto!

    1. It really depends where in Norway you are. Many place, particularly at higher altitudes there is still plenty of winter. In my town, Bergen, it’s a season changes, sometimes some snow and other days warm.

  2. The sun is healing,I like the warm tones here in this photo. Pathways beckon me to move forward and explore. We have even more snow, snowed gently the last two days with temperatures of -10 to -20 all week, but it is melting fast under the intense rays of the sun, also getting warmer. Relief!

      1. Indeed – hope you all are doing well. And this Easter will be very empty. I love Easter cooking, fresh food. this time we will be alone at the table and not that many dishes…

  3. The color is lovely, but I especially — maybe mostly — like the texture of the snow. Seeing the melt brings back the earthy aroma of spring: wet, and pungent.

  4. Nice to see, Otto. Here in Southern New England we only got to see a landscape with snow a few times. Bit of a disappointment and not even a Spring snow has happened. I like the little trickle of a brook winding through the scene and the bright sun promising a warming day.

  5. We never had snow this winter…kinda miss it specially after seeing this photo. It’s beautiful❤
