Last Week’s Instagram

Once a week—or every so often—I will display one of my photos captured and/or processed with Instagram over the last week. It’s a way for me to show photography that usually is quite different from my regular work. The pictures are displayed without any comments, hoping they will stand on their own. But I still very much appreciate any comments you may have.

  1. Hey Otto – I’m back! There’s so much in this photo: the sky, the faded mountains, the structures and the story. Is it the end of a journey or the beginning? It’s delightful.

  2. What beautiful light you captured! I can’t decide though whether the impression I’m left with is one of serenity or dread — thanks to those ominous mountains in the background, sticking up like sharp teeth.

  3. It seems as though the golden sky, rather than being reflected, has been dissolved into the water. It’s a beautiful complement to the harshness of the rock jetties and the mountains.

      1. I just started skimming your “no compare” post and have to come back (but I am really looking forward to it – and it is timely because the “don’t compare” just came up for me in a post – either way – I will be back
