Last Week’s Instagram

Once a week—or every so often—I will display one of my photos captured and/or processed with Instagram over the last week. It’s a way for me to show photography that usually is quite different from my regular work. The pictures are displayed without any comments, hoping they will stand on their own. But I still very much appreciate any comments you may have.

  1. Your photography is stunning. I really love your pictures of the family of farmers in Cuba. You capture the people and setting in such a beautiful way.

  2. Otto, this somehow reminds me of a famous self-portrait by the late, great Galen Rowell in which he stood on top of a mountain framed in backlight. (He set up the shot and his assistant tripped the shutter.) A better compliment I can’t think of.

  3. Not all moments should be captured for others or to share keep some precious for yourself ,live that moment and you will enjoy that peaceful emptiness which belongs to you ,only for you
