Last Week’s Instagram

Once a week—or every so often—I will display one of my photos captured and/or processed with Instagram over the last week. It’s a way for me to show photography that usually is quite different from my regular work. Except for the technical details beneath the pictures are displayed without any comments, hoping they will stand on their own. But I still very much appreciate any comments you may have.

Facts about the photo: The photo was taken with a Canon EOS-5D with the lens set at 60 mm. The photo was transferred to my cell phone and processed with the Pixlr-o-matic app.

  1. As always, you just got to look at your photos, they are so interesting!! Autumn on the way, here in the UK also, the wild pears and apples are already dropping to the delight of many creatures like badgers, rabbits and many birds.

  2. What a sweet, autumnal tangle of grasses, trees, and hills. I was a little amused at my first reaction upon seeing it, though. My thought was, “It’s dry!” Here on the Texas coast, dry is good. 🙂

  3. After our recent visit to Bergen, I understand the draw of the forest! We walked in a local forest earlier this week and didn’t see a single other person. I love the sounds of the forest and the way it smells, especially after rain. Wish I lived in a tree house!

We were very pleased with the weather we experienced in Bergen. I do recall we sat out in the sun with you at Dr Wiesener’s. Hope you see a little more sun before the autumn really sets in.
