Last Week’s Instagram

Munchow_1782-001_E2

Once a week—or every so often—I will display one of my photos captured and/or processed with Instagram over the last week. It’s a way for me to show photography that usually is quite different from my regular work. Except for the technical details beneath the pictures are displayed without any comments, hoping they will stand on their own. But I still very much appreciate any comments you may have.

Facts about the photo: It was captured with a Canon EOS 5D, transferred to my cell phone and then processed with the app Pixlr-o-matic with the filters Ivan and Rustie.

Beautifully composed Otto. I like the effect the filters have had.

A combination of rocks and ferns always surprises me, as did the touch of magenta and purple in the filters. There’s a distinctly primeval feel to this that had me looking around for the hidden dinosaur.

  3. Amazing and magical photo, Otto. I could imagine thaat there are fairies living there.🙂

  4. For me this is a beautiful autumnal surrounding, but I wonder where the mushrooms are hidden!

Nice composition! Like the green plants in the foreground that lead to the one of the tree in the back ground.

  7. I think these apps are so cool.I borrowed a tablet and used an app that changed my photo into a drawing-very impressed and it was fun. Like the light and colours in this composition-rich.
