Once a week—or every so often—I will display one of my photos captured and/or processed with Instagram over the last week. It’s a way for me to show photography that usually is quite different from my regular work. Except for the technical details beneath the pictures are displayed without any comments, hoping they will stand on their own. But I still very much appreciate any comments you may have.
Facts about the photo: Taken with my cell phone and processed with the app Pixlr-o-matic with the filter Aladin.
Beautiful picture
Thank you, Claire.
It’s a pleasure
I’m drawn to the study of the juxtaposition of hard linear structures walling in
around the organic soft elements represented in the humans in this photo.
Timely photo.
Thank you for the feedback. Much appreciated.
Intriguing photograph Otto. A crane at a costruction site? Great shot . Holly
Thank you, Holly.
Love the framing , the composition, the subject and of course the soft light
Thank you for always giving encouragement, Paula.
This seems to have some depth in time. Old buildings crumbled down, new buildings being built and current buildings stand strong. It makes you think.
That’s part of what I saw, too, when I took the photo. Thanks for the comment, Michelle.
Love the color tone!
Thank you. 🙂
Fascinating composition and beautiful framing.
Thank you, Simon.
Are those PEOPLE? Something about this photo gives me the shivers. Perhaps that’s just the introvert in me. But also it looks to me like a scene in a science fiction story.
Yes, they are people. And it was the strangeness of the juxtaposition of the people up against the city under development that caught my eye. 🙂
Where was this?
This was taken at Century Link stadium in Seattle. 🙂
There’s a reason they’re called cranes, of course. This one looks lonely, as though it landed in the middle of a very crowded pond, and would prefer to fly off and join its companions in a more congenial location.
I like you associations. It does look lonely, doesn’t it. Thank you, Linda.
There are some really beautiful tones in this one, Otto.
I love the composition too.
Thank you for the feedback, Lisa.
Fascinating, Otto!
Thank you. 🙂
Superb photo Otto! Very engaging! 🙂
Thank you, Adrian.
