Last Week’s Instagram

Around the world at this very moment when I am posting this Week’s Instagram, people are either celebrating New Year’s eve or have already entered the new year of 2016. As and ending of the year, I would like to thank all of you who have visited my blog, commented or like any of my posts. It’s been a fabulous year in many ways, but also a year with challenges and shortcomings – as is always part of the human experience. And I am not only thinking about myself, however, but around the world too many people are faced with war or suppression or other kinds of hardship. I pray and hope for some changes to the better, that all human beings will once be able to live in peace and harmony.

Once a week I will show one of my photos captured and/or processed with Instagram over the last week. It’s a way for me to show photography that usually is quite different from my regular work. The pictures are displayed without any comments, hoping they will stand on their own. But I still very much appreciate any comments you may have.

          1. I think you have a good point there! I had a very distracting last few months moving and settling in, hopefully I can spend time being creative again soon….

  1. Hay ya !! Happy new year !! Hola friends ! Please check out this blogger really his works amazing ! And I liked urs too ^~^ stay bleesed !!

  2. The diffused glow in the photo is lovely. At first (and even second) glance, it seemed as though the background was made of stacks and stacks of beautiful, glittery boxes. Wouldn’t it be nice if those boxes did include all the gifts we really want: peace, joy, freedom from fear?

A happy New Year to you and yours, Otto, and best wishes for a wonderfully creative 2016.

  3. I begin each new year with the wish and hope that it will be better than the year before — not just for myself, but for the world. Thank you for the past year of insights and inspiration, Otto. Happy New Year to you and your loved ones.

  4. Otto, this is a beautiful composition. I wish you and your family a beautiful year ahead. And yes, the world can do with some peace and harmony. I hope this new year will gift us the warmth of love and happiness.
