Last Week’s Instagram

Munchow_1709-087_E1

Once a week I will show one of my photos captured and/or processed with Instagram over the last week. It’s a way for me to show photography that usually is quite different from my regular work. The pictures are displayed without any comments, hoping they will stand on their own. But I still very much appreciate any comments you may have.

This photograph open up our minds to the possibility of the future and what lies ahead. It is unknown but with the sun shining through the trees we sense hope. It is a lovely photograph on many levels.

Simple and Beautiful! I love trails!

  3. annhaycox says:

It has an interesting flatness, almost like a woodcut. Appealing.

  4. It looks like a beautiful place to walk and contemplate…life.

Such is the power of the will-o-the-wisp, drawing the unsuspecting deep, deep, deeper into the forest: the path apparently so clear, the destination still unsuspected…

  6. Beautiful shot, Otto. 🙂

It is interesting you frame the picture with the lady at the bottom edge near the left most of the picture. That gives the feeling of she is embarking into a wilderness and somewhat unknown path. Just uncertain feeling this picture gives. Aside from the story, I like the sun at the other side of the picture that keeps this picture a bit on the brighter side.

Love how you processed this… Thank you for sharing!

Interesting – I like the metaphor for setting out into the unknown. However, just one problem for me Otto….the ladies head is a bit obscured by the darkness of the landscape in that part of the image, and it took me a moment to see that it was a person…probably just my eyes!

    A shot of optimism.

  11. That is me. Every day. In my heart.

Schönes Foto Gruß und Küsse Gislinde

  13. Wish I was there. Nice photograph!

  14. A mystical world ahead…

This definitely looks like the start of a story. An upbeat/updated retelling of a fairy tale, Angela Carter style. The light on the girl’s shoulders and leg, suggest her setting out hopefully and with purpose. But the shadows in the wood could be saying that there is something darker in store/that all is not what it seems. Love it, Otto.

Totally retro dress with V in the back !! super style

  18. I love the path directly to the sun. Lovely.
