This Week’s Instagram

Munchow_1698-007_E2

Once a week I will show one of my photos captured and/or processed with Instagram over the last week. It’s a way for me to show photography that usually is quite different from my regular work. The pictures are displayed without any comments, hoping they will stand on their own. But I still very much appreciate any comments you may have.

  1. I think this one has an erotic feel, Otto.

    Ciao, Pat

  3. InfiniteZip says:

Simply put, amazing. A gift to the eyes.

    works well..pleasing to look at!

  5. Looks edible to me.

  6. schuttzie says:

Beautiful and wonderful capture of the water droplets!

  7. Beautiful!
    So great photo!

  8. shoreacres says:

A pure red sometimes seems strident to me, and less interesting. But the dark tones here, and the striations in the blooms, add so much — it as though a film noir director has taken on the flower fields.

  9. What a lush photo! Absolutely enchanting. I agree with the subtle eroticism there… very well done, Otto! Mother Hen

  10. An image that speaks to its inherent beauty…

  11. Sue says:

Love the richness of this, Otto!

  12. Angeline M says:

Absolutely gorgeous. And, yes, very different from your usual photography.

  13. The only word which comes to my mind is fabulous! Yes, it’s really a fabulous photo!

  15. Monica says:

  16. YellowCable says:

Great color tone and strong contrast. The shiny water beads make the picture lively.

  17. Elaine- says:

wow!! that’s all i can say! when i think of instagram i think of silly cell phone shots, not this magnificence!

  18. Robin says:

    Beautiful! The detail is amazing.

  19. RuneE says:

I admit that I would never have thought that such close-up details were possible with a camera on a mobile phone! The sensuality mentioned by others seems very obvious 🙂

    • It really depends on the phone you use. And it’s also possible to capture a photo with a regular camera and transfer it to the phone. Thanks for the feedback, Rune. I always appreciate your comment.

  21. Gertie says:

  22. Vicki says:

What a great close up, Is this using a tripod?

  23. Vibrant and bursting with life!

  24. My Heartsong says:

Love the colour and drops. Have you tried taking photos of flowers under water? Secure them so they are submerged and bubbles will form all over them, then you shoot through the glass of the vase.i took a workshop on this and it was fun.

  25. rangewriter says:

Please tell me this is not a camera photo…

  26. The colour and saturation is fantastic and the detail too – beautiful photo Otto

  27. Ptck says:

    Flowers already crying !!

  28. Such vibrant and rich colour! Beautiful picture Otto.

  29. It is fun to see another body of your work presented this way. I understand there are artists making a living by selling their work on instagram…do you have any advice in this? Thanks 🙂
